Details of the direct charging support package from Grab
When switching to a BYD or GEELY electric vehicle and operating on the Grab platform, driver-partners will receive the following exclusive free charging benefits:
- Support for the first 20 charging sessions per month: Applicable for a maximum of 6 months per partner.
- Maximum support of 35 kWh per charging session (calculated based on the average session price and rounded up).
- Integrated charging network search: Drivers can easily find and recharge energy at EBOOST charging stations via the "EV Utilities" feature right on the Grab Driver app.
3-step guide to receiving charging subsidies at EBOOST stations
The charging and cost support process is fully optimized on mobile phones so that drivers experience no interruption in their work:
- Find an EBOOST charging station: Open the Grab Driver app, access the "EV Utilities" section to search for the nearest EBOOST station.
- Charge and pay: Visit the station to plug in. Start the charging session and pay the charging fee directly through the "EV Utilities" feature on the Grab Driver app.
- Receive support funds: The operating cost support bonus (equivalent to the value of the first 20 charging sessions in the month) will be automatically credited to the partner's Cash Wallet on the 7th of the following month.
Conditions for Eligibility (Must-Know for Drivers)
To ensure that the monthly charging cost support is disbursed, driver-partners need to switch to a BYD or Geely vehicle, register to participate in the program within the required timeframe, and achieve sufficient performance metrics during Grab's review period.
