- 2019
The Beginning
Stefan, a Swiss entrepreneur who had lived in Vietnam for more than seven years, began building and selling electric motorbikes. Through this business, a clear need emerged for smart charging solutions for electric motorbikes and electric vehicles in general. This drove us to research and start developing the EBOOST charging solutions. A small team was born – EVIDA was founded.
- 2020
Commercialization
Commercialization of both electric motorbikes and EV charging solutions. Pilot projects in Ho Chi Minh City. Completion of the app and cloud platform.
- 2021
Growth
EBOOST grew rapidly with partners and landmark buildings across southern Vietnam, reaching more than 250 charging points. We began developing our electric-car charging business, launched in 2022, and expanded the team to reach more distant regions throughout Vietnam. We partnered with a solar energy company to offset carbon emissions equivalent to the electricity consumed. EVIDA transformed from a single-member company into a joint-stock company.
- 2022
Expansion
EVIDA shifted the focus of its core business to electric-vehicle charging. Commercialization of EV charging. Expansion across Vietnam with more than 700 charging points, with the further goal of covering every region of the country.
