The Vietnamese low-cost electric vehicle (EV) market is promising to boom with a series of Chinese brands launching plans to assemble and distribute their products in Vietnam. The TMT Automobile Joint Stock Company (TMT Motors) joined hands with the joint venture of General Motors and SAIC – WULING in mid-February this year to exclusively manufacture, assemble and distribute Wuling Hoangguang Mini EV into Vietnamese market.

Commencing at a price of 239 million VND, this electric car offers an ideal solution for urban customers with its convenient size and easy maneuverability. Designed by a Chinese automaker, it comes equipped with a 1.5kW car charger that can be directly plugged into a 220-volt residential power source. With a full charging time of approximately 6-9 hours, depending on the battery capacity, this vehicle provides a seamless and efficient charging experience.

While charging has been identified as one of the limitations of the Wuling Hoangguang Mini EV, as users need to charge the battery at home and no separate charging station has been designed by the company, there’s a solution available. Customers interested in this model can take advantage of EBOOST’s electric vehicle charging station. With EBOOST, users will experience enhanced convenience, transparency, and automatic shutdown when the battery reaches its full capacity, further improving the overall user experience with this remarkable mini EV.
